Hello, In my Drawing for Building Arts class at SCAD, we were assigned to copy a style of another Urban Sketcher's work. The style that I choose had to be colorful and bold. It is part of my personality to bring out joy for others to see. This style was accomplished by watercolor pencils. These color pencils were my favorite part of the sketches assignment. The bold mark that the color pencils made on the paper was fun to see what would happen next. The buildings were exciting to see especially when the sky was changed to a gorgeous sunset. We were taught in class that tress, cars, and people are the scale of the drawing. The two trees are meant to be the same scale and same height. The contrast of the tan building and the sunset works extremely well together. XOXO Andie Mac |
